Custom Antibody Production The Antibody Production Facility comprises of a modern animal house which is run by well experienced professionals and skilled technicians.A variety of animals , viz.Rabbits , Goats , mice and guinea pigs are routinely available. SPAN can add any other species to cater to the customer's need. Customers can benefit from SPAN's wide experience with differnt immunization techniques and fully integrated infrastructure to produce high quality antibodies. The art and science of immunization process play a key role in producing good quality antibodies. Span , having years of experience has understood this aspect;well. 1. The essence of good quality antibody is minimal back ground signals.This back ground signal is due to the presence of antibodies against different , unrelated pathogens. Therefore , we use only carefull bred , pathogen free animals for custom immunizations. Animals are quarantined for three weeks before they are immunized and subjected to daily monitoring to ensure healthy status throughout their tenure in our animal house. 2. Another important factor in production of high quality antibodies is the stress that animals experience before and during immunization. We take utmost care of our animals to reduce the stress , which lowers the risk of mortality during the immunization cycle and makes the protocol safer and successful. 3. Animals are kept in clean and air conditioned environment and fed high quality food.Special care is taken for sterlity while sampling and also to prevent haemolysis. 4. The immunization process,the route of the injection and quantity injected are standardized for each immunization step and documented under ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 system. |
